Hello! I am Angela Atlas here to serve the Douglas County residential community and its future residents. I team up with home-sellers and actively look for interested buyers for their homes.
While many naturally regard a real estate transaction as something financial, once in the process, many realize it can also be an unexpected, heart-twisting emotional journey as well. Sellers need someone who not only watches out for their timelines and finances but who will also navigate the process beside them with sensitivity and care. I understand that their home needs to be sold for the most amount of money, often in the shortest amount of time, and with the least amount of hassle. I understand what it takes to get that done and to assist with sensitivity.
I’ve spent my adult years abroad learning other cultures, listening as a learner, appreciating differences with respect, and pursuing diverse relationships intentionally. While some of those years I was paid to teach and write, all of the time I was invested in understanding what was important to people and understanding the values that drove their decisions. I learned how to find common ground with everyone. These skills translate well in uncovering motivations and moving negotiations along positively and productively. I strive to retain hopeful outlooks and find creative solutions when needed.
My transition into real estate came when I wanted to give my children the same roots I experienced as a child— hence, the move back to my hometown, Roseburg. When I bought my home over video calls and e-signing, I began to see that this is a people-first business. I was instantly drawn to how this career would allow me to meet all kinds of people in my community who I might not ordinarily have the chance to meet otherwise. I love to hear peoples’ stories and help them start new life chapters. I love to help people get to where they need to be.
